To make a room reservation request, go to www.sis.purdue.edu and click the Schedules menu item and then the Venue Schedule sub-menu item.
Guidelines to request a room from the SIS web site:
- Fill in the pertinent info regarding the date, time, size, preferred building, etc. for your event.
- Use the "Features" box to specify desired room attributes such as computer projection, seating type, etc. Fill in as much information as you want (time and date are always required).
- Click "Show Availability" found at the bottom of the page.
- A list of available rooms that meet your criteria will be presented.
- Select the room you want by clicking the radio button next to the room and click the Request button at the top or bottom of the list.
- That will take you to a screen where you fill-in more information regarding your reservation request.
- At the botton of this page, click the "Submit" button.
- Your room request will be processed by SMAS and you will receive an email confirmation.
Guidelines to view events scheduled in rooms:
- Fill in the pertinent info regarding the date/time range, and optionally building/room information.
- Click "Show Scheduled Events" found at the bottom of the page.
- A list of rooms that meet your criteria will be presented along with the events taking place within your requested date/time range.
- To view a room's schedule in a grid format, click the radio button to the left of the room and click the "Show Grid" button at the top or bottom of the room.
- From the grid format you can easily view "Previous Week" or "Next Week" events scheduled in the room. You may also "Request" a room.
